Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlin). They claimed a resounding 58-20 win over the Moody Bearcats. With the Bulldogs ahead 33-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.

The victory snapped Marlin's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record. As for Moody, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Marlin will head out to face off against Bruceville-Eddy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Marlin is facing Bruceville-Eddy at the right time seeing as Bruceville-Eddy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Moody, they will welcome Riesel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
