Softball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Beaver's Winning Streak

After a string of seven wins, Beaver's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the South Sevier Rams by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Beavers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Beaver saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerzee Beaumont, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Beaver's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 15-5. As for South Sevier, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beaver will head out to challenge Millard at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Sevier, they will venture away from home to square off against Richfield at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
