Meanwhile, Biggsville West Central's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's eighth consecutive shutout  on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Bureau Valley  a   6-0 shutout. The Heat might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
Not much got past  Miley Stimpson, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Bureau Valley off the board. Stimpson has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Biggsville West Central let  Becca Hinshaw and  Lauren Winters run wild. Hinshaw  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs, while  Winters  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  stolen bases  Hinshaw has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lily Higgins, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Biggsville West Central  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in 13 consecutive  contests.
 Biggsville West Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.
