St. John's Prep waltzed into their matchup on Sunday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Mansfield Hornets 8-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

St. John's Prep pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Mansfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's Prep will square off against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mansfield, they will face off against Foxborough at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
