Fort Campbell scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Heritage Christian Academy 53-17 at home. That 36 points margin sets a new team best for Fort Campbell this season.
Rosella Rajj continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Madison Newingham was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northeast's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Rossview 59-13. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northeast has scored all season.
Damonei Peterson was Northeast's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Qimara Summers held things down on the boards with five rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Fort Campbell's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Northeast, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Fort Campbell have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 43.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Northeast struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.5 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
