Palisades scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Jackson Day 95-42 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Palisades has managed all season.
It was another big night for Matthew Dillard, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Brian Ngo was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sugar Creek really took it to Garinger for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-41 victory on the road.
Sugar Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ajaylon Ingram- Moore out in front who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Terry Watson, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Palisades' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Sugar Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Keep an eye on the arc in Friday's match: Palisades have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 4.4 threes per game. It's a different story for Sugar Creek, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 threes per game.
