Volleyball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Cannon Falls

Cannon Falls won the last time they faced Lake City, and Katie Tipton did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bombers blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Tipton, who had 15 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Cannon Falls walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-20.

The win made it two in a row for Cannon Falls and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for Lake City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cannon Falls will square off against Goodhue at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake City, they will take on Cotter at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
