The victory was all the more spectacular given Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 585th, while KIPP Sunnyside is ranked 280th).
Jayvion Mitchell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamorian Cole, who scored 15 points.
