It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wrangell had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They won by a  set and slipped past the Metlakatla Chiefs  3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 Wrangell can attribute much of their success to  Christina Johnson, who  had four  digs, four  aces,  and two  kills. Johnson has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more  assists the last nine times she's  played.
 Wrangell  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 17  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 13  aces in four consecutive  contests.
 Wrangell's victory bumped their record up to 20-5-1. As for Metlakatla, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8-1.
