The West Forsyth Titans's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Reagan Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, West Forsyth didn't have too much trouble with the Bobcats on the road as they won 40-26. Given West Forsyth's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 514th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
West Forsyth got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Staples out in front who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Katherine Ebert, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Reagan entered their tilt with the War Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Reagan enjoyed a cozy 49-34 victory over the War Eagles on Tuesday.
West Forsyth's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Reagan, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
West Forsyth beat the Raiders 42-35 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Forsyth since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
