San Fernando stacked a fifth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Reseda 33-6 at home. San Fernando's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Meanwhile, even though Bernstein scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Hollywood still came out on top. Hollywood took their contest against Bernstein 65-58.
Da?Mareae Landry was his usual excellent self, rushing for 344 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 19.1 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Alex Ortega, who threw for 265 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes.
San Fernando's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Hollywood, their win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2.
