Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Itawamba Agricultural Indians, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They suffered a rough 31-7 loss at the hands of Louisville on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, Itawamba Agricultural couldn't push the score so high this time.
When it comes to explaining why Itawamba Agricultural lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cooper Waddle. Despite the final result, he picked up 96 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jaylin Jordan was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
Itawamba Agricultural has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Louisville, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Itawamba Agricultural does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Louisville will square off against New Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Albany is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
