Drummond and Seeley-Swan are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Drummond Trojans will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Drummond will be strutting in after a win while Seeley-Swan will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Drummond beat St. Regis 51-40.
Drummond's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trey Phillips, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Phillips set a new season high mark in blocks with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Scott Parke, who scored 13 points along with five assists.
Meanwhile, Seeley-Swan lost to Thompson Falls on the road by a decisive 57-40 margin on Saturday. Seeley-Swan has struggled against Thompson Falls recently, as their game on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Drummond's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Seeley-Swan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Drummond strolled past Seeley-Swan when the teams last played back in February by a score of 50-31. Will Drummond repeat their success, or does Seeley-Swan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
