Ava McCarty made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Abby Walker was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those hits were her first of the season.
