Eagle waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Mountain View Mavericks to the tune of 70-32. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.
Berkley Jones was her usual excellent self, going 8 of 14 on her way to 19 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Porter Wood, who posted ten points and six rebounds.
Eagle was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View only posted seven assists.
Mountain View's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madeline Martin, who put up eight points. What's more, Martin also racked up three boards, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Kendrie Judd was another key player, putting up six points.
Eagle's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Mountain View, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13.
Eagle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-55 win against Kuna on the 25th. As for Mountain View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-46 victory against Ridgevue on the 24th.
