Stanberry has been on the road for two straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Winston Red Birds at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-19, which was the final score in Stanberry's tilt against Rock Port on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Stanberry has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Winston came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 52-42 win over Tri-County on Tuesday. The win was just what Winston needed coming off of a 71-30 loss in their prior match.
Stanberry dropped their record down to 6-16 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Winston, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.
Stanberry beat Winston 52-43 when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Does Stanberry have another victory up their sleeve, or will Winston turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
