Basile won the last time they faced Mamou, and things went their way on Friday, too. Basile put a hurting on Mamou to the tune of 36-0. Basile were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Basile back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Mamou's record to 0-2.
Basile will stay at home next week against Sacred Heart at 7:00 PM. As for Mamou, they will face off against St. Edmund.
