The defense contributed on the scoring end for
Rim of the World (Lake Arrowhead, Calif.) on Saturday, totaling 12 points as the Fighting Scots beat Notre Dame (Riverside, Calif.) 69-20.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Jacob Taylor in the first quarter, the Fighting Scots led 41-13 at the half.
Rim of the World expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. RW scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Taylor.
Paul Bradvica made a difference for the Titans. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to seven on the year.
Taylor stood out for the Lake Arrowhead school in the win. The senior running back ran for six touchdowns. He has now scored 24 touchdowns on the season.
The Fighting Scots also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 49-0.
Rim of the World (6-0) will play a Mountain Valley game against Jurupa Hills next week, while Notre Dame (3-3) will take on Citrus Valley also in a Mountain Valley game.
