The Ridgway Demons lost against the North Fork Miners back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ridgway fell 42-34 to North Fork. Ridgway has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Demons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elle Borsari, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Ali Sauer, who scored five points.
Ridgway now has a losing record at 2-3. As for North Fork, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgway will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Telluride at 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024. Telluride comes in still looking for their first win of the season. North Fork will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rangely at 4:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hopefully Rangely focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday.
