They took their match at home on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 60-17 victory over Valley. The victory was familiar territory for Jefferson who now have four in a row.
Jefferson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Halayna Loyd, who scored 15 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Loyd continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Louise Duepner was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Valley, they bumped their record down to 5-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Perryville at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for Valley, they will be playing at home against St. Paul Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
