Southern Nash has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Bunn Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Southern Nash focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, Southern Nash narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 52-50.
Southern Nash's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from George Richardson, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Richardson posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Jayden Hartsfield, who scored 17 points.
Southern Nash's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Bunn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
Southern Nash skirted past the Wildcats 52-50 when the teams last played on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southern Nash since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
