Piketon has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Huntington Huntsmen at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
Piketon suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Unioto, falling 57-17. While losing is never fun, Piketon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while Unioto is ranked 58th).
Meanwhile, Huntington stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Green 52-23 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Huntington has posted since December 9, 2023.
Piketon's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Huntington, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Piketon suffered a grim 59-33 defeat to Huntington when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Piketon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
