The Babylon Panthers won the last time they faced the Pierson/Bridgehampton Whalers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Babylon enjoyed a cozy 41-24 victory over Pierson/Bridgehampton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Babylon.
Babylon found their leader in underclassman Peyton Logue-boyd, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Logue-boyd has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Ohalloran, who scored seven points.
Babylon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Pierson/Bridgehampton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Babylon will head out on the road to take on Southold/Greenport at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pierson/Bridgehampton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Babylon at 6:15 p.m. on February 9th.
