The Chilton County Tigers pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 77-55 walloping at the hands of Moody.
Despite the loss, Chilton County had strong showings from Iasia Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten assists, and Tyeshia Williams, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds. Anderson scored a full 43.6% of Chilton County's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Chilton County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for Moody, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.
Chilton County is on the road again on Thursday and play against Talladega at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Moody and St. Henry will face off at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (St. Henry is ranked 80th in Kentucky, while Moody is ranked 69th in Alabama).
