The Crystal City Javelinas can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Poteet with a sharp 78-57 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Crystal City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Rousseau led the charge by scoring 22 points along with three steals and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Eli Mata, who scored 23 points.
