After a string of four wins, New Dimensions's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. The game between New Dimensions and Lakeland Christian wasn't particularly close, with New Dimensions falling 66-52. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points New Dimensions has scored all season.
New Dimensions lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jeriel Martinez, who scored 21 points. Martinez scored a full 40.4% of New Dimensions' points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Carrasquillo , who scored 17 points.
New Dimensions' defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lakeland Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
New Dimensions will take on Discovery at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Lakeland Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on New Dimensions at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
