McCook won the last time they faced Hoxie and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bison won by a set and slipped past the Indians 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Bison, who have now won four games in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day McCook got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 21-25, 25-19.

Cali Crawford paced McCook's offense, picking up 16 kills. Crawford got some help from Karstyn Porter and her 33 assists.

McCook's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hoxie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3.

McCook has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Maywood/Hayes Center on the 20th. As for Hoxie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Dighton on the 20th.
