The Park Tudor Panthers lost against the West Lafayette Red Devils back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Park Tudor was outmatched by West Lafayette at home and fell 62-29. While losing is never fun, Park Tudor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while West Lafayette is ranked 40th).
It was another big night for Adrianne Tolen, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals for West Lafayette. That makes it five consecutive games in which Tolen has scored at least 25% of West Lafayette's points. Sarah Werth was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 3 steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Park Tudor and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for West Lafayette, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park Tudor will take on Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Indianapolis Scecina Memorial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Friday. As for West Lafayette, they will be playing at home against Twin Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Lakes is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
