She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Bayard got a  massive  performance out of  Shayleigh West, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave  West a new career-high in  hits. Another player making a difference was  Jenna Flores, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bayard  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .722. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Bayard's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Gothenburg, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record  this season.
 Bayard will welcome Gering  on Tuesday. Gering is coming into the  contest with three straight  victories on the road,  so Bayard will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Gothenburg, they will venture away from home to  take on Chase County  on Saturday. Gothenburg is facing Chase County at the right time seeing as Chase County is stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak.
