The Baraga Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the L'Anse Purple Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Baraga, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-37 loss to Dollar Bay.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to L'Anse, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They were outmatched by Chassell at home and fell 78-38.
Baraga's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for L'Anse, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
Baraga didn't have too much breathing room in their game against L'Anse in their previous matchup back in February, but they still walked away with a 55-50 win. Will Baraga repeat their success, or does L'Anse have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
