The Enterprise Hornets will head out on the road to  challenge  the Gridley Bulldogs  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Enterprise has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 13.

 Enterprise took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13,  25-21.
Meanwhile, Gridley made easy work of Live Oak  on Tuesday and carried off  a  3-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bulldogs.
 Gridley walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10,  25-19.
 Gridley found their leader in sophomore  Madison Carey, who  had 12  digs and two  aces.
 Enterprise's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Gridley, their victory bumped their record up to 19-10.
 Enterprise couldn't quite get it done against Gridley in their previous meeting  back in September of 2024 as they fell  2-0. Can the Hornets avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
