The Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 46-36 victory over West. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bishop Carroll also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Bishop Carroll's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braxton Martin, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mikey Brand, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Bishop Carroll's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Bishop Carroll will head out on the road to face off against Junction City/St. Xavier on Saturday. As for West, they will play host again and welcome Ruskin, where tip off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
