Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midland). They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 69-36 victory over the Flint Southwestern Academy Knights. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chemics as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Midland's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Midland will challenge Carman-Ainsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, they and Beecher will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Flint Southwestern Academy is facing Beecher at the right time seeing as Beecher is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
