Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Quincy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Hamilton Braves with a sharp 9-1 victory on Friday. Considering the Trojans have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Quincy's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.

Quincy will take on Biggs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Trojans 3.2, the Wolverines 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
