Schalick is 0-7 against Overbrook since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The two teams will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Schalick will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Overbrook is ranked 102nd).
Last Tuesday, Schalick came up short against Penns Grove and fell 53-45. Schalick has not had much luck with Penns Grove recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Overbrook entered their tilt with Woodstown with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Overbrook strolled past Woodstown with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 52-35. 52 seems to be a good number for Overbrook as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Schalick has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Overbrook, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
