Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for CSTHEA

CSTHEA strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-53 W against the Upper Cumberland Rams. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

CSTHEA was led to victory by Ryan Swanson and Phillip Johnson. Swanson dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards, while Johnson went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points. Those 20 points gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Baldschun, who posted eight points and nine rebounds.

CSTHEA's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Upper Cumberland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

CSTHEA didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-58 win against Georgia-Cumberland Academy on the 18th. As for Upper Cumberland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 75-66 victory against Stem Preparatory Academy on the 22nd.
