Everything went their way against the Southeast Lancers on Saturday as the Riverton Rams made off with a 77-54 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.
Despite the loss, Southeast still got an impressive performance from Blake Robinson, who went 7 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and eight rebounds. Robinson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Warner, who posted seven points in addition to nine assists and six boards.
Riverton's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Southeast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Riverton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Liberal at 7:30 p.m. Riverton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Liberal likes a good challenge. As for Southeast, they will square off against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season.
