The Kern Valley Broncs suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 80-30 loss at the hands of Rosamond. Kern Valley has struggled against Rosamond recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Kern Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Watts, who scored four points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Carver, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Andrew Arredondo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rosamond, scoring 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arredondo has scored all season. Fabian Robles was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Kern Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Rosamond, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kern Valley will take on California City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. California City is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Rosamond, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
