Memphis Business Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Teryck White led the charge by scoring 27 points. White hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Jay'lon Hopson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Jackson, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Marcellas Dobbs, who scored six points along with three steals.
Hamilton struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Memphis Business Academy posted 15 assists.
Memphis Business Academy pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Memphis Business Academy will head out on the road to square off against Kirby at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Kirby is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Hamilton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against White Station at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th.
