After flying high against the Ridge View Blazers on Tuesday, the North Augusta Yellow Jackets came back down to earth. North Augusta took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Camden on Friday. North Augusta lost against Camden in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-27 score last time.
Camden can attribute much of their success to Joyce Edwards, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Morgan Champion, who scored 11 points.
North Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Camden, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
North Augusta will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Military Magnet Academy at 8:30 p.m. on November 25th. Hopefully Military Magnet Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. As for Camden, they will face off against Heathwood Hall Episcopal at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
