The Morris Catholic Crusaders put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past Bethany with a  67-63 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Morris Catholic was led to victory by  Mya Pauldo and  Mia Pauldo.  Pauldo  scored 22 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds, while  Pauldo  scored 23 points along with nine  assists and five  rebounds. Pauldo is absolutely dominating the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Jacqueline Edelman, who  scored eight points.
 Bethany lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Keziah Lofton, who  scored 24 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals. Lofton is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's  now  scored 15 or more in the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kayten Donley, who  scored 21 points along with eight  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Morris Catholic's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Bethany,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-4.
 Morris Catholic will head out on the road to  face off against  St. Rose at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. St. Rose will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Morris Catholic is ranked first). Bethany on the road again  on Thursday and play against Enid at 1:00  p.m.  on January 18th.
