At the plate, Pourron went 1-for-5 with four runs and two stolen bases, while Simmons went 2-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Pourron has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Southside Christian got a massive performance out of Ethan Busdieker, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Busdieker a new career-high. Zeke Ragan was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.
