On Wednesday, South View came up short against New Hanover and fell 44-35.
South View's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jayla Blue, who scored 4 points along with 19 rebounds. Jordynn Parnell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 16 rebounds.
South View now has a losing record at 1-2. As for New Hanover, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South View will stay at home for another game and welcome Hoke County at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. New Hanover will take on Wayne Preparatory Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
