Legacy is a perfect 10-0 against South East since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Legacy Tigers challenge South East Jaguars at 3:00 p.m. Legacy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Legacy took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Mira Costa by a score of 5-1.

Savannah Medina spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 14 Ks. Those 14 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Isabella Medina was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Priscilla Medina, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
Meanwhile, South East fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against South Gate on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 10-6 to the Rams. The Jaguars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Iliana Dominguez put in work while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Dominguez was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Alyssa Ramirez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Alexa Donis was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.
Legacy pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for South East, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Legacy took their win against South East in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-2. Will Legacy repeat their success, or does South East has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
