Wooster extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 7-9. They fell 8-3 to the Lexington Minutemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Minutemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 on Tuesday.
Sydney McAfoos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
