The Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones lost to the Glenwood Titans back in December of 2023, but the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones didn't allow the Glenwood Titans the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Sacred Heart-Griffin came out on top against Glenwood by a score of 40-33.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexis Neumann, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Rowann Law was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Sacred Heart-Griffin's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Glenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
Sacred Heart-Griffin on the road again on Thursday and play against Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Glenwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
