Basketball Recap: Huntingdon Christian Academy Beats Calvary Christian Academy for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Huntingdon Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 57-52 W over the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors. That's more bragging rights for Huntingdon Christian Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Conquerors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micah Lloyd, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. Jackson Suttles was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Huntingdon Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Calvary Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
