Cairo suffered their biggest defeat since December 28, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Thomas County Central, falling 65-23. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cairo in their matchups with Thomas County Central: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Bainbridge was beaten by Hardaway 68-34 on Tuesday. Bainbridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.
Cairo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Bainbridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.
