Rivercrest's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Connor Herring, who picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Jaquan Brown who rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown.
Boles has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Rivercrest, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Boles has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 196.6 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Rivercrest, though, as they've been averaging only 90.2 per game. How will Rivercrest fare against such a dominant running game?
Boles came up short against Rivercrest in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 27-14. Can Boles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
