Carrizo Springs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,392 from 8,583.
Hondo led 3A Region IV District 29 in points allowed with 42.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Devine's Eric Trogden and Cody Trivino have proven to be a lethal combination. Trogden has thrown for 427 yards this season, while Trivino has 8 catches for 230 yards. The Wildcats' Freddie Longoria leads the league in rushing yards with 391.
At the moment, the Owls are in third, while Carrizo Springs is in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hondo takes on the Wildcats. The Owls have allowed 111 points this season, while Carrizo Springs has given up 112. Hondo allowed 42 points last week as it fell to Somerset.
The Owls also led the league in scoring this week after putting up 15 points.
